On the day of installation, the surface must be dry and clean – we may need to rearrange the installation date on humid and wet weather days to prevent bubbling or clouding. Weather permitting, we will mix your chosen aggregate and resin, before spreading it evenly and leaving it to dry.
24 hours after laying the resin-bound aggregate, the entire surface area needs to be thoroughly swept to reveal a smooth and even surface.

How We Prepare & Install Tarmac Driveways
After we excavate the surface to the required depth, we will lay down a geotextile woven membrane and crushed concrete. Once the concrete has been rolled out and compacted, we will install your drainage infrastructure and edging design before applying the base layer of tarmac. The last stage in the process is laying and setting the top layer of tarmac. Once it has set, you’re good to come and go on your new tarmac driveway!
